Atractylodes 蒼朮
Pharmaceutical nameAtractylodis Rhizoma
The three axes are assessed independently and are never combined into a single score.
KTKP records the origin species as Atractylodes lancea (Thunb.) DC.. It has not yet been cross-checked against the Korean Pharmacopoeia, so the identification confidence is not raised to an official code mapping. The same drug appears under 5 records as name variants. The same source species also yields 1 other separately registered drug(s) (Atractylodis Rhizoma Alba), which must not be conflated. The name most used for this taxon in current literature is Atractylodes lancea. Literature searches for this herb also cover Atractylodes chinensis — the same taxon appears under several names. The nomenclatural discussion for this herb was flagged for correction during verification; only the verified facts are shown here, with the details in docs/HERB_NAME_RESEARCH.md.

The KTKP traditional materia medica record (M0001178) gives the origin species as Atractylodes lancea (Thunb.) DC., the part used as 뿌리줄기, and the properties as 고신(苦辛), 무독(無毒), 신고(辛苦), 온(溫). It lists 간(肝), 비(脾), 소장(小腸), 위(胃), 폐(肺) as the channels entered. The same record cites the Donguibogam (1613) as the source for its indications.

- An A grade requires checking that the conclusions are consistent. Read the abstracts — counts alone cannot establish an A.
- The indication was derived automatically from the Condition field of 0 registered trial(s). It reflects what is currently being studied, not a traditional use, and a curator should confirm the label is apt.

- 4 adverse-event or toxicity record(s) were found. This only flags that literature exists — read the abstracts to decide between "caution" and "harm confirmed".
- 1 interaction-related record(s) are retrievable. This flags that literature exists — it is not an interaction checker (§3.4).
