중풍후유증 中風後遺證
Sequela of wind stroke disorder
Where they diverge
Traditional concepts do not map one-to-one onto modern diagnoses. Read the divergence note first.
The traditional concept is broader: it groups post-stroke neurological deficits together with systemic and psychiatric symptoms under one name. A Korean core-outcome-set consensus (Front Pharmacol 2022;13:868662) lists 13 core symptoms including not only hemiplegia, dysarthria and cognitive impairment but also dyspepsia, constipation, urinary dysfunction, depression, insomnia, headache, delirium and dyspnoea. Conversely it does not encode what the modern classification carries. ICD-11 subdivides the antecedent event by type — subarachnoid haemorrhage, intracerebral haemorrhage, cerebral infarction — and that distinction determines secondary prevention (anticoagulation for atrial fibrillation, revascularisation for carotid stenosis). Without it, that decision cannot be made. Confidence is high here, supported by Korean national claims-data studies.
- Research confidence: high. The full assessment, in Korean, is in docs/PATTERN_RESEARCH_KCD_DISEASES.md.
- The modern correspondences come from literature research, not from an official KCD or KTKP mapping, so the highest mapping confidence is not assigned.
- Full evidence and citations are in docs/PATTERN_RESEARCH_KCD_DISEASES.md.
- KCD does not carry the Donguibogam volume, so it is left blank here. It needs checking against the original text.
- The ICD-11 TM1 code is shown alongside because the two classifications carry the exact same official English name. It is not a mapping we created (§11-R2).
- 6 question(s) the research could not settle — see the research document.
