The KTKP traditional materia medica record (M0001322) gives the origin species as Saposhnikovia divaricata Schiskin (= Siler divaricatum), the part used as 뿌리, 뿌리줄기, and the properties as 무독(無毒), 신감(辛甘), 온(溫). It lists 간(肝), 방광(膀胱), 비(脾) as the channels entered. The same record cites the Donguibogam (1613) as the source for its indications.
